Jennifer Kramer Will Be Speaking at a Free CELA Webinar: Changes to PAGA
Apr 22, 2025

On August 16, Jennifer Kramer will be speaking at a free CELA Webinar: Changes to PAGA. On July 1, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed legislation that updated the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) after proponents of a PAGA ballot initiative withdrew their measure. The new amendments uphold worker protections, incentivize employer compliance, and help streamline the litigation process.

In this free webinar, we will discuss how we got to the most recent legislative changes to PAGA, what these changes mean for your PAGA practice, and strategies you can take to leverage these changes to maximize recovery for California employees.

Cost: This program is FREE and exclusively for CELA and CAOC members; you will be asked to verify your member status in the registration process.

CAOC members will need to click “Register Now,” enter their name and email address, and then “Create New Account to Register.”

MCLE: This webinar will qualify for 1.25 hours of General MCLE credit. CELA is a State Bar of California approved MCLE provider, #2292.

Thanks for reaching out! We imagine you found us because you’re looking for real, human lawyers — and that’s exactly what we are.

To help us give your case the careful attention it deserves, we kindly ask that you share your story in your own words rather than sending anything written or polished by AI tools. We know AI can feel like a helpful shortcut, but it actually makes it harder for us to understand what’s really going on in your situation, which means we’re less able to help. Hearing directly from you is what allows us to evaluate your case properly.

If a disability, language barrier, or anything else makes it difficult to communicate with us, please just let us know. We’ll happily work with you to find a way that works.
