Emily Tran is an associate attorney who joined the firm in January 2025. She earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 2024.

During law school, Emily was a clinical law student in the Youth Justice Education Clinic (YJEC), advocating for system-impacted students in school. Emily also participated in the Employment Rights Clinic, where she investigated claims filed with the California Labor Commissioner.

After completing the California Bar Exam, Emily was selected as a 2024 Victor E. Chavez Fellow for the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Los Angeles Chapter. This program provided an opportunity for candidates to develop skills to be a civil trial attorney. Emily spent three one-month rotations at a civil defense firm, a plaintiff’s firm, and a judicial placement with the Honorable Kevin Brazile of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

At Kramer Brown Hui, Emily represents plaintiffs in various discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage-hour related cases.

Thanks for reaching out! We imagine you found us because you’re looking for real, human lawyers — and that’s exactly what we are.

To help us give your case the careful attention it deserves, we kindly ask that you share your story in your own words rather than sending anything written or polished by AI tools. We know AI can feel like a helpful shortcut, but it actually makes it harder for us to understand what’s really going on in your situation, which means we’re less able to help. Hearing directly from you is what allows us to evaluate your case properly.

If a disability, language barrier, or anything else makes it difficult to communicate with us, please just let us know. We’ll happily work with you to find a way that works.
